Un-lower a 2000 ex? Help please
Un-lower a 2000 ex? Help please
Hi all, new to civic forums. thanks for being here to ask questions.
I recently bought a 2000 EX that is lowered, probably two or more inches. Having this car lowered where I live does not suit me too well. I live in central Illinois in a smaller country-ish town. My new lowered car is not fairing so well on some of these roads.
So, what then will it take to un-lower my car? I am not really in to this stuff so I do not know where to begin. Simply swap out struts/springs/shocks back to oem? Or is there going to be other issues I need to know. Also, if this is do-able I will be looking for the parts to do it with if anyone has any oem/stock parts available. Please Help

take a pic of the suspension without the wheels.
if just springs, the shocks might be possible to use if they are not crap parts.
or if it have the collars and adjustable, you just need to raise it back and then you just need to align the car.

You would need to get oem springs, and if your current shocks are good then you wont need new ones obviously. But if you were to do this yourself you would need a spring compressor, I think you can rent one from autozone or something. You would just need to be safe with it.

You can mount almost any honda motor in your civic. You would just need the motor mounts needed and some customization.
