I was hit from behind by a Buick a couple weeks ago. It cracked my bumper, pushed in my exhaust foward and bent my cat back pipe. Anyway, my alignment feels off and want to know if anyone knows how hard someone has gotta hit you to throw an alignment.

I dont think that its likely, but anything is possible. Make sure nothing else on your rear end is bent

Yes based on the sound of the impact I would say that it is likely.

There are many things that could have happened. If it pushed your exhaust forward it could have bent your rear sway bar also. If the sway bar is bent just right it could be binding your rear A-arms. Another possibility is that it just knocked the rear toe out, the adjustment is right there. There are a tone of other things that could have been bent also, I would have it looked at.

Yeah it goes in the shop on Monday to fix the bumper and exhaust...but I didn't mention the alignment. Gonna do so when I drop it off.
