Rep Power: 0 If all of your suspension components are stock then the 19mm is plenty. It reduces understeer and give the car a more neutral feel.
If your car is an 01-02, then the 19mm rear is a good match with the 25mm front. Honda reduced the size of the front sway bar in the later years so I am not sure how the 19mm or larger would feel on those models.

Rep Power: 0 Don't forget to buy the mounting bushings and make sure you use a bunch of penetrating oil on the end links. You need to use an allen key in the end of the bolt to hold it while turning the nut. The allen portion usually fills up with rust and strips easily so be careful.
If you try to hold the bolt with vise grips you'll bugger the threads. Either way, don't be suprised if you need new end links before you're done. I did mine early in the car's life and managed to escape unscathed. If you live in a warmer climate (unlike me) you may not have a rust issue, but, still be careful.

Rep Power: 0 Here's a link to Grey's endlinks. As you can see they are much more beefy than stock....stronger and don't wear out as fast. That's why they are an upgrade.
Since the guy you mention is selling the bar with the endlinks....I would take 'em....especially if you are at all worried about messin' up the stock ones during your install.

Rep Power: 268 Grey's endlinks just lessen the chance of breaking an endlink. With a 19mm OEM bar you probably won't have to worry but since they're coming with the bar than why not. They won't do any harm although I've heard they can be noisey if not greased enough.

Rep Power: 268 Well the Progress bar is 22mm and a different design than OEM. Some use the Progress bar and their endlinks are fine other have broken theirs. I've only heard/seen cases of the Progress bar breaking them. I have yet to hear/see a case where any other 22mm or larger bar has broken stock endlinks. If you want a 22mm there are other options out there. A OEM ITR or any of the aftermarket 22mm bars for the rsx will bolt up.

Rep Power: 0 If you go to a 22mm you will also need to get a rear tie bar. The stock attachment points are not strong enough to hold something that stiff.
Also, bigger is not always better. You should plan and match your suspension mods. Going with a 22mm and leaving everything else stock will most certainly result in oversteer and possible instability.

Rep Power: 268 You NEED to have a tie bar? That's news to me. I know it's a reinforcement but guys have been running 22mm bars and no tie bars with no problems. I'm not saying you're wrong but I don't think it's a absolute must.

Rep Power: 356 Thats debateable. The old civic/integras were known to have this problem, but it hasnt seemed to materialize with this gen chassis. I've been running a 25.4mm rear bar for over 2 years (of compeditive driving) with no brace and there hasnt been any damage or issues.

Rep Power: 0 If you've had good experience without the tie bar, then all the more power to ya! Maybe its not a real problem with this gen like you say (Zzyzx) and its more of a precautionary measure due to legacy problems on previous generations.
Either way, its up to you to do what's best for your own car and discussions like these will at least educate everyone.
Thanks.

Rep Power: 280 Alright, so i decided i'd go with the RSX's Rear sway bar, but i heard that the Type-S is 21mm and the RSX(base) is 19mm. Say i wanted the 21mm, what what years would be the best fit for my 01 Ex Coupe?

Rep Power: 387 If you look at older gens you can see the chassis is significantly flimsier. The new chassis is much better in terms of its rigidity, except it is heavier.
LT, the 06 RSX-S has a 21mm bar, but I believe all the ones before that have a 19mm (base and S). You can get the RSX-R 22mm bar.
Any bar from the RSX will fit.

Rep Power: 387 Here is Bellz's chart...it is in the FAQ
Honda Sway Bar Specs
It say 05-06 Type S has a 21mm, but other than that they all are 19mm.
