I would like to relocate my battery to the trunk or back seat. My back seat and truck are both stripped to the bone.

So what is your question? Installing a battery in the trunk is child's play you just need the have proper Positive and Negative cable length. You can use your hood or oem battery tray to hold it in the back seat and weld j hook homes. In all should take about 1-3 hrs.

not really worth it for the amount of cable you need to run. just leave the battery spot alone and get a smaller one. braille makes nice little mounts you can put anywhere.

Batteries give off hydrogen when they are charging, that's why all cars from the factory with trunk batteries have some sort of venting system/tube. You might want to look into that.

if you get a sealed agm, they do not give off any gases provided you charge it properly. the hydrogen is recycled internally.

Thanks for the feed back.
I'm not going to get a smaller battery, that's pretty homosexual. I'm cleaning out my engine bay. A/C is out and battery is next. I appreciate the comments though.

you can get full size or even better than stock agm sealed battery if you want to relocate inside the car.
