Unhappy Not getting any sound!

Hey! I have a problem with my 1999 LX, the audio no longer sounds. The radio turns on fine but there is no sound with the doors closed. BUT it's not muted when I have the drivers side door open......I'm guessing it's something to do with wiring in the door? Any suggestions on what & how I can fix this? Please and thanks!

Re: Not getting any sound!

Check inside the wire boot for bad wire(s). It's in the door hinge area and looks like a rubber accordion.

Re: Not getting any sound!

You have a positive lead grounding out on the chassis somewhere in the door frame. Run new wires if the systems on an amp, electrical tape if you're still running off the stock speaker harness.
