Trunk Rattle help

Hey I recently put one 10 inch sub in my trunk to give some extra bass in my car. I bought some fat mat to get rid of the awful rattling that you can hear on the outside of the car. I was just wondering where the common spots are for rattling in a 2000 Honda Civic coupe. I've put the matting on the trunk "door" and there is still rattling. If anyone could give me a list of spots to zone in on that would be great.

Thanks

Re: Trunk Rattle help

you may need to physically adjust the trunk so it sits tighter against the car. there should be rubber stoppers you can turn to make the trunk sit lower, and also the latch is a bit adjustable. just play with it til you get a good solid seal.

Well that my make the trunk look funny, the rattle could be in between the 2 pieces of metal I would spray some expanding foam into places were it is safe to do so.
