Power Window Connection in Door

Power Window Connection in Door
So, the guy I bought my 93 Civic off of disconnected the power windows from the door. I see the connections when i open the door, but I can't seem to plug them together.
Is there any way to make this easy? Every time I try to connect the wire from the front to the connection in the door, the door connection falls inside of the door.
