Dash lights and Audio system

Ok, so earlier I posted how I had a problem with my dash lights, but it's since been fixed, I'd like something better than the stock dash stuff for the gauge cluster. What's going to be my best bet in terms of low cost, ease of install and overall look for my '99 Civic HX (automatic)?

Next question, one of the previous owners had a sub/amp hookup already going in the car. I've got the wiring all installed and ready to go. My deck looks like it's really fancy, a Pioneer of some sort, with individual sub controls and whatnot. What would be a great sub/amp combo that's not going to break my budget? I'm not looking to rattle my neighborhood or anything, just fill out my bass end, free up my rear speakers for more mid and high sounds.

Thanks!

Re: Dash lights and Audio system

1. do a search for gearbox's LED gauge cluster conversion

2. i've always liked Kicker for performance and cost. you can get a 12" Kicker Comp and a box for about $100. then something like this would be plenty to drive it:
http://cgi.ebay.com/KICKER-08ZX300-1...mZ350147565692
there are tons of possibilities out there. our cars don't need more than a single 12" to be loud and pound.
