How big can i go?
A local person has some wheels I'm looking at getting with decent tires already on them but, not sure if they will clear. They have 215/45/17's on them. So roughly an inch taller and an inch wider than stock. Do any of you know if they will fit without any clearancing needing to be done. 98 Coupe.

Offset is important to the equation here. Once you have that, then you go somewhere like this.
Can't remember what offset the wheels on my '01 were but that's the same size tire and I had no rubbing issues on stock ride height. It should be similar for a gen 6.
