Rep Power: 0 Will they fit
I am getting some 17 X 7.5 Wheels
I am putting 235/45/17 on the front.
I am putting 245/45/17 on the rear.
My question is will the tires stick out far, from the car on the side. Also when I turn, will the tires rubb in the front.
The owner of the store is telling me that it won't rub, touch, anything. He said that the tires will not still out alot, but it will look nice.
The thing is I have to pay for it, and then if it looks stupid or rubbs or anything, I'm stuck with it.
What should I do. (I like wide tires)

Rep Power: 400 First off, ditch the staggered set up... thats retarded with FWD. second of all, get 215/45/17. Those tires are WAAAAAAY too wide. And if you do that, it will look stupid, because they will flub out the sides. What is the offset on these things anyways?
Who ever owns that store is a ****in idiot... go somewhere else. You can't get 235s on a Civic.

Rep Power: 0 Those tires are so fat - have you checked out this site's tire calculator? I don't think ANYONE here running 18x7.5 would EVER touch a 245 or a 235.
Stick with 215 at the least - probably at the most, too. (I'm not sure about 225 but I'd be quite positive it would rub.)
The owner of the store doesn't know WTF he's talking about. Evidently, he's never driven a Honda Civic, let alone looked at one with 17s.

Rep Power: 356 I'm with Boilermaker1, why have the wider wheels in the back? The car already understeers, so why put more traction on the rear? Do you want more understeer?
and along with every body else, 215 is probably as wide as you want to go, though you could probably sneak a 225 on there.
