Running different size rims front/back???

Hey guys, I was running a thread over in the suspension section-- basically I recently bought a Civic EK recently that's sitting on 17" Eneki rims with relatively thinwall tires. I just have OEM suspension. Photo below:

My problem is that going over speed bumps, or cornering hard I'm hitting/rubbing the wheel wells on the front. The rear seems to be fine. I've been told this rim/tire combination is simply too big for the car. My question is this: Must I downgrade all four rims to 16", or can I just swap out the front two and leave the back rims at 17"? What are the implications of doing such a thing and how does it affect handling etc if at all?? Thanks for your input...

for anyone that comes here looking for same answers, as answered in the other thread, your tires are just too big.
