Hi, I have a 1996 honda civic cx (D16Y7 Auto), and it's been close to stalling every time during a cold start only (Drives and idles normal once engine is warm). The engine would rev high to avoid stalling but would go away eventually and then the car maintains a pretty good idle. I've changed spark plugs, ect sensor, cleaned the IAC valve and throttle body but the problem still persists. However, I did find oil in the intake manifold while cleaning the IAC and was wondering if the PCV valve may be sending oil into the intake and so overnight, the oil on the intake seeps through the air valves and end up in the combustion chamber or sucks in the oil causing flooding of the engine therefore near stalling?
