A/C Leaks: UV Dye Is The Way To Go

UV dye ($4 @Napa) and a UV/Blacklight flashlight ($6 @ Lowe's) is the best way to find a freon leak.

Unless Captain Obvious is using an expensive freon leak detector.

Electronic leak detector works well when surrounding air is very still and a leak is somewhat rapid.

When a leak is too minute for a "sniffer" to detect, the evidence created and left by the UV dye can eventually prevail (unless it's washed away by rainwater or washing)
