2000 Civic power lock

I am familiar with replacing actuators. Just did the front passenger's on a 2000 Civic and ended up with that door lock unlocking while the other three doors lock , and vice versa. What could that be?

I know, right? I was beat by the time I'd finished, and didn't want to remove the panel again to look. Just thought the mpc moulding wouldn't allow me to plug it in backwards. But, yeah, that's what came to mind. I'll open it up and check. Thanks a lot.

I don't know HOW because I was thinking the same thing (unless wires got yanked out of the plug), it can't be plugged in backwards......but I suppose the power lock unit could be built wrong....Is it aftermarket?

Hey ezone,
You were right. I took the (aftermarket) (cheap) actuator back out and opened it and the failed one and compared the two leads. Soldered incorrectly. Cut, stripped, twisted, taped and got her connected properly and presto! A small thing, but still nice to have lock control at the driver's switch. Just wish the key in the door would open all four doors like my Accord. Anyway, thanks for your replies.
