Rack & Pinion help!
Hey so I own a 1999 Honda Civic Si ( 2 Door Coupe ) 1.6L SOHC VTec Automatic Transmission, The Rack & Pinion needs to be replaced and I was wondering if I could use a Rack & Pinion from a Manual Transmission as Automatics are not as common does the Rack & Pinion have to come from another Auto Transmission 99 Civic Si? Or is it possible to take one from a Manual please lend a guy a hand and let me know thanks

I didn't see where transmission type makes a difference?
You're in Canada....I looked up a rack in http://torontohondaparts.com
and found the same part number power steering rack was used in coupes, hatchback and sedans as well, so you should be able to locate a suitable replacement easily.
SI-R used a different part number.
Any auto recycler should be able to look up your parts in their interchange manuals and see what years/trims will work with your car.
If you are DIY then look up your possible donor car in the catalog and compare part numbers to your car.
