98 civic lx ... Recently I've gotten a P0118
Hey, so i noticed this thread seems dead but I ant find any thread similar.
So i have a 98 civic lx ... Recently I've gotten a P0118 code - ect high input
Ive been ignoring it until i could get the part for it by pushing in the pedal when turning over to prevent the rough start ... Well recently I was starting it up like that and let go of the key too soon and so it stalled out ... The code then disappeared and now the car cranks but wont turn over.
When i disconnect the sensor the p0118 code reappears and then disappears when connected back ... Would that be a bad connector or bad sensor???

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Post moved to its own thread.
Replace the ECT sensor.
Then if it doesn't start normally or with the gas pedal held to the floor, that last start attempt might have flooded it.
