Motor mount issue

So my passenger upper mount broke also the bracket from the mount to the transmission broke. Thats not the big problem the problem is the one of the bolts on the transmission to the bracket broke. Upon further inspection they are studs and are not coming out. How would i fix this?

Re: Motor mount issue

***Warning: I have no practical experience with this***

That being said, I would imagine that the bolt in question is threaded into the transmission, and, that using a "bolt extractor kit" would work to remove it.

Re: Motor mount issue

Can use the tool Mac posted:http://www.harborfreight.com/Screw-E...-Pc-61981.html

or a reverse (left hand) drill bit: http://www.harborfreight.com/left-ha...-pc-61686.html

Research on line and find out which one is better for your application. The screw extractor set that Mac posted looks like it's better geared towards your car's situation. I've used a left hand bit to remove a broken valve cover bolt but, they're only 8 mm's. Also, though I linked Harbor Freight's items you may want to consider checking around for possibly higher quality bits.
