A New A/C or Can It Be Fixed?

I have a 2006 Honda Civic LX and the A/C maybe checking out. When the cars been off for awhile the air works nice and cool. Here's what happens… If I accelerate sometimes after I’ve been driving for awhile, the A/C blows warm air or If I stop to run errnads the A/C will blow warm air after the 2nd or 3rd startup.

Can my mechanic fix whatever is going on or do I need a new A/C?

Thanks,
Scotty13

Replace the compressor clutch relay first, see if that helps. Cheap and easy.

Original failure prone relay brand is OMRON
Updated relay brand is MITSUBA, Honda part number 39794-SDA-A05.

AC clutch relay is #12 in this diagram
