Turning steering wheel causes rotation of ignition key switch

When steering wheel is locked and I keep turning past either the left or right locked position (I feel the locked position, then give the wheel barely some more force), the ignition switch also turns with the steering wheel another 10 degrees approx more than the locked position. Why is this ignition switch motion happening and what do I need to do to keep it from happening (what do I need to tighten up or whatever)? Please see video below..

It's normal to see that, especially on older cars. The lock assembly is only 'strapped' around the round tube of the steering column, it's not bolted rigidly to the column.
