Hi everyone I'm new here not sure how to navigate this website quite yet but have a annoying problem going on for months now. I'm stressed and don't know what to do I love my honda but im too the point of selling it if i can't fix the problem.

One day my car was dead and my cousin jump started my car but he connected the cables wrong and my car wouldn't start anymore so a "mechanic" came and installed the button in order for me to start it, so i turn the key and press the button and it starts. after that everything was good but out of nowhere
a clicking noise sounds like it's coming from under the steering wheel by the fuses, all of the dash lights, tail lights flicker, ac/heater lights everything electrical starts flickering on and off randomly except for headlights ,finally it stops and doors automatically lock. Happens continuously whether car is on or off. In order for it to stop I have to disconnect my battery.
how do i make it stop

Got pics of whatever wiring was done?

When the cables are connected backwards, it blows a huge fuse and the car goes dead (except for maybe the horn and hazard lights on some models)
Was the huge 80 amp fuse replaced or was it bypassed?

Check the main relays on the car
4 of them i think
if its a 96-00
but they can break and they will not allow power out the other side
causing the loud clicking and the dash light on off and dimming

try taking the battery cables off for 10min or so to reset the system and see if itll work then
i have to do it to mine when it acts up
still need time to trace the problem
mine happened when my ignition switch shorted and fried the 2 small relays on the side panel
