From what I've read, this comes with a d16y8 engine. Mine has a d16y7 motor, according to the code.

I'm also throwing a bad ECU code... How do i fix this?

Re: 2000 ex

**** i can't remember. But its an electrical load distributer Voltage too high. Possible cause bad ECU.

But i'm not sure if its caused by a bad computer, wrong computer, wrong wiring harness, or what.
I'm half tempted to just throw a new motor in there and start all over.

P1298 is ELD (electrical load detector) voltage high. Did you try the ELD first?

My parts catalog does not work that way.

USA catalog M.Y. 2000 Civic, all except HX use the same part number ignition coil.
