Low power?

My car is actiing up,
What the car is doing...
It has 110k mile 96 civic auto

The car is slow to go until 20mph or soand then kicks in and goes , after it downshifts and high rpm but still sluggish and it wants to be sluggish though I can put to neutral and it revs normal, but once I stop again and try to go full throttle its boggy and slow .

the coolant res was low with overheating, but the heat was blowing hot. There are no codes, the oil and tranny fluid are good and look normal levels and color.

I dont know what is happening and no codes whatsoever

I'm sure ezone will say so in a bit but how long did you drive with that overheat? Any amount of time can mean warp-city...

Meh, how about the low power concern? Low fuel pressure, cam timing off a tooth, restricted exhaust, misfire, trans not backshifting to first gear at a stop? Could be damn near anything.
