hi I'm new to the civic world and jus recently bought a 97 civic lx.. I'm trying to diagnose my heater, I think it's the core.. It's blowing out air but neither hot or cold. I checked my radiator hoses and they get warm-hot and from what I can tell my heater hoses are hooked up to the firewall but from there on idk what to do please help anyway to help diagnose my problem . I am mechanically clined as I work in an auto body shop but not mechanical.. Thanks

Is the heater hose from the thermostat housing hot or not guessing the thermostat isn't opening.
