Power window problems and door locks
Power window problems and door locks
I have a problem and cant figure it out. When I hit the fob to unlock the doors only the passenger door unlocks driver side has no response. I took the driver side door panel off and removed the actuator then I am able too unlock and lock the door with the key. Also my master switch has no response when I try and roll the windows down. So I am not sure if the master switch is dead or what. Does anyone know if the master switch can be the root of all these problems that are happening all at once. I have a 98 civic ex D16Y8.
Very frustrated and any help from this great community would be appreciated...

Could be anything.....Wiring diagram and a voltmeter and test light would be my best friends.
Most of those are developing broken wires in the door jamb where they flex every time the door is opened and closed.
