ebrake light is on.
ebrake light is on.
So my e brake light now stays on half as bright as if the e brake switch was released. I've checked the fluid level in the master cyclinder and its fine, Ive depressed the switch with my thumb and it goes back to being half as bright. The front pads were replaced last year. The only thing that comes to mind is that the drums are now almost completely worn.
Anyone have any idea? I guess its either the float switch in the master cylinder is not working properly or the drums?
thx

Reconnect the wires, remove the cap. Turn cap upside down and see if the light stays on or off.
Make sure reservoir is actually at the full mark, the light comes on long before fluid reaches the low line.
