I have same issue. I also have a cracked exhaust manifold and the attached catalytic converter's insides are melted. The codes are as shown from advanced auto.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: transmission range sensor... plz help
What kind of car do you have? (year, make, model, trim, body, etc.)
That code can't be for any Civic. There is no P0430 for any Civic. If you got that out of a Civic, that code reader is wrong and can't be trusted. Try a different scanner before anything else.
P0420 would be a cat code (bank 1) for a Civic.

Moved posts to a new thread in 6th gen.
If your car truly has the P0420 and a cracked manifold, then you need a cat. Manifold and cat are a single unit.

Here's the other code I thought I had previously posted. I am already replacing the one piece exhaust manifold and catalytic converter which one is cracked and the other's insides melted.

NOW I see why you tagged onto the other thread.....You shoulda said so earlier, I would have left it there.
Still can't trust this, same as I already said.
There shouldn't be a P0705 in this car.
The only one close is P1705.
You now have 2 codes from that scanner that the car can't possibly have, so I'd say to get a different scanner and recheck these first.
--------------------------
Does this car have a CVT trans, or a regular automatic? I'm assuming automatic...
P1705 is set when the PCM sees more than one gear position inputs at the same time, for a time of at least one second.
The range switch is in the same place as the other thread had it, on the side of the shifter....and I suppose it too is susceptible to liquid entry as I described in the other thread.
