Automatic trans problem...please help

Automatic trans problem...please help
I have a 2000 honda civic dx with auto trans.
I've been having trouble with shifting the car in and out of reverse.
The shifter gets practically stuck in reverse and I really have to pull on it in order to get back into park, or into Neutral/drive.
Any thoughts???

I did do a trans fluid change, to try and help but it did not change.
Also, took a look underneath and cable looked to be ok with no noticeable bends or anything.
