98 civic brakes stuck/loose handbrake
98 civic brakes stuck/loose handbrake
I have an automatic 1998 civic dx that i drive in the winter and this is the first summer that i have stored it. It has been in the garage for about 3 months now and I went to move it today to clean it. I put the car in reverse and the car would not move. I applied some gas and it made a crunching sound and came free. I also noticed that the ebrake has come very loose. Could it be rusted rotors or do I need to check the brake line? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Yes, it's VERY common for the brake pads and shoes to rust and literally adhere to the rotors/drums. If the handbrake handle is now loose, you could have sticking cables and/or shoe and park brake hardware inside the drums.
