Alright, so long story short, bought this car. Worked fine and then 2 days later it wouldn't shift into reverse. It also began grinding when shifting from 4th to 5th. Changed the gearbox oil, didn't do anything. I've been told by friends that it could be a bent fork, and a random stranger just said it was the Synchro. Any thoughts on this?

Does the clutch pedal feel funny?
Does the clutch release fully, and are you pushing the pedal all the way to the floor when you shift? Floormats not bunched under the pedal?

Fluid full in the clutch reservoir? If it went low or empty, the hydraulic system has a leak.
