1998 Civic DX Shifter question

1998 Civic DX Shifter question
I have a 1998 DX Hatchback 5speed. The shifter doesn't stay in the same spot when it is in gear. It always drops back in to the neutral position although it is not in neutral.
Has anyone experienced this?

Time to crawl under it and check out all of the rubber and plastic bushings in the shifter and its support, from the trans to the lever.
