97 Civic dead battery, now it's fine?

Hi all, newb here, my daughter's 97 Civic would not start for her this morning, wouldn't do anything, I think she said it just made clicking noise. I just got home from work and went to start it and it started fine, plenty of power from the battery. But I also noticed that her radio was off, and when I turned it on all of her preset stations were lost, to me that indicates that she completely lost battery power for a little bit, I don't get it? Please help!

I think I found the problem, the ground was loose from the battery terminal, at least I hope that was the problem.
