Temperature problem

My car was parked up for about 2 months, so i decided to give it a run....after driving for about 8km, i saw the temp gauge went up to 3/4......i recently changed the water pump an the gauge temp sensor so i know thats not the problem....i took out the thermostat an drove the car and the same thing happened....the gauge does not go higher than 3/4....i also have my fan on all the time.....my engine is a d15 non vtec..
This only happens when i drive for more than 8km...
Can this be a radiator problem?....
Someone help me plzz...btw, am not losing any coolant...

Re: Temperature problem

if you changed the sending unit for the temp gauge, the wrong one could cause bad readings on the dash. You may not actually have a problem, but just the wrong/a bad sending unit.

Re: Temperature problem

did you open the hood and put your head in under there? usually it will be very obvious when a car is running hotter than normal. you may just have air in the system giving a false temp reading if you did not bleed it after doing the waterpump, or you could have clogs in the cooling system (radiator or heater core).
