'96 not starting with key.
'96 not starting with key.
I've had this issue for a few months now and I'm fed up.
If I put the key in and try to start it, nothing happens. The lights come on, check light comes on and then stays off, but the starter doesn't make a sound.
The only way I've gotten it to work is by touching a wire from the battery positive to the starter itself and it cranks right up, runs great.
I'm lost for ideas and all my googling around hasn't found anything. Please help, thanks.

Re: '96 not starting with key.
Well it can be the wire from the battery to starter maybe loose, corroded or bad. You can replace the cable that goes to the starter in 1hr. Check all your hardware to be sure they aren't loose. P.S disconnect the battery when you check them can give ya a nasty shock. I can send ya pics or you can message me privetly and I can help ya out.
