Weird noise coming from wheel area

97 civic ex coupe

Everytime i go over any kind of bump i hear a loud noise. It sounds like metal banging into each other. It's coming from the front passenger side.

Re: Weird noise coming from wheel area

Jack up the car, remove the wheel, below the spring is a junction, a " Y " shape, grab the bar that comes up to the bottom of the Y. I bet it wiggles that is your clunk. Replace it and you're good. Drivers side will go later. Hitting pot holes, sewer grates, gutters, combines with the crown of the road on the passenger side and trashes that one first.
