98 Civic underbody plastics?

98 Civic underbody plastics?
Bought a used 98 Civic hatch with no plastic guard beneath the radiator and AC condenser/compressor area. Can someone tell me if an underbody plastic guard is standard on this model orr not? I do have fenderwell splashguards but wondering if there's something to protect the engine area from debris?

that plastic is more for areodynamics above 40mph rather than engine protection. even with the cover you will get lots of water splashes all over the engine bay. if curious you can look up the parts diagrams here: www.hondaautomotiveparts.com
