There is no pep in my civic's step
My wife bought my civic for me while I was in Iraq. I never drove it on the highway till a few weeks ago and found out that once my civic goes over 55 it starts sputtering and dies. Then the next day after it rests overnight it will work. But 55 seems to be the devils speed for this car. I'm not sure what it is. Hoping somebody can point me in the right direction.

may just need a detailed tuneup. new ngk plugs and wires, check the ignition timing, check for any oil leaks, do an auto-rx.com treatment to clean inside the engine, new oxygen sensors, etc. and fix any codes if the engine light is on.

Got it fixed. Changed out the fuel filter. Car still doesn't have enough get up and go so spark plugs are next. But at least I can drive the highway. I appreciate the autozone referral. They were friendly and knew exactly what they were talking about
