Emissions HC and NO FAIL! 2000 Honda Civic Si
I need help figuring out what's causing my 2000 Si coupe to fail the emissions.
I just had the entire exhaust system redone within the past 6 months: new cat, new muffler, new center pipe.
I had an engine swap done as well just recently. The original D16Y swapped out for a leaner running JDM engine model D15B. The engine itself is clean and I had a flush done and oil changed just 400kms ago. Timing, spark plugs, and vacuum hoses were checked as well and all seems fine.
I checked the air filter, which turned out to be fairly dirty, and I'll be replacing before the retest, but otherwise, I'm at a loss.
