1997 civic runs rough after new MAP sensor install
Please Help!!
my 1997 civic (185,00 miles never had a new timing belt)..was stalling at idle and when i turned ac on.
Car has had a check light on for 5 years or more. O2 sensor....replaced sensors still had light on.
I found out my radiator was leaking, and a heater hose. Replaced them.
Also new distributor, timing belt, waterpump. Car also had horrible jerking
and rough shifts. (automatic trans) Now have crankshaft position sensor code.
After radiator, hoses upper and lower....leaking heater hoses, and distributor change, everything ran pretty good.
EXCEPT... now it won't move uphill under any load...untill you get to 2000
rpm.
Took it to a decent mechanic to do the timing belt, crankshaft position sensor, and water pump. Also set the timing.
Car now runs good....shifts nice!
OK?? I run a scan and get p0113 p0135.
I put on a new Map sensor and a new Iac sensor....Already have replaced
TWO O2 sensors, 140 bucks wasted just on the O2 sensors.(Never could get rid of the p0135)
After new Map and Iac sensor install this morning, I reset the codes. My code reader warned
me the car might run rough after resetting the codes.
Car is now running horrible again...with new code P0108. (the new map sensor??)
Also back to stalling at idle...and when i turn on the ac at idle,
I'm at my wits end and now broke, with a STILL lousy running car.
