I took out a 5spd tranny out of a 98' 4 door.. I was told it will fit.
The torsion bar dropped with no problem.. but when removed the nut from the shift linkage bolt would not slide out no matter what

so I just sawed the bar off. Now... do i just cut and reweld it to the bar thats attached to the tranny im putting in. Or can it be removed at the tranny end? not where the arrow is but the other linkage.. can it be removed from there someowheres? i noticed its pressed there. Or unless hauling back the rubber sleeve exposes another way to change it.
