coolant leaking
coolant leaking
I recently changed the antifreeze/coolant on my 97 civic. I also replaced the radiator cap. Now I am adding coolant like it is going out of style. It is leaking someplace and Im not sure where. There is coolant on the top of the radiator fan left and right of the upper radiator hose. Also the coolant reservoir is going empty. The radiator cap seems to fit tight. The radiator hose is on there good. I would guess it is coming out of the reservoir. Just a guess though. Any suggestions?
I should say I think the coolant is boling over from the reservoir

Re: coolant leaking
What cap did you put on it? If it isnt the correct psi you could be blowing it right out. If you have the D16Y8 I think it should be about 16psi. Did you run it and look to see where it may be leaking while its running? Are you over heating at all?
