Hi new to this site. I am wondering if anyone here has ever experienced somthing that I am. I have a 5-speed Mnaual, my tranny shifts fine through the gears, but when you let the clutch out it pushes the shifter back at you a little bit? it doesnt push it outt of gear it takes of fine, but it pushes it back, and just runs in that position? It does not do this in reverse though. If anyone could give me any ideas please do.

How exactly are you shifting? I know that when I was really off with my shifts when I started out, my car would do something similar. It doesn't do it anymore though since I've become familiar with my car.

I am thinking there might be some type of mounting bracket right below the shifter that could be loose. Is that possible? Or am I way off?
