NEEWWWWBBB! I have a few issues with my 1996 Dx Hatch

Ok, i have to do a drivers side CV shaft and the timing belt. No problems there, im confident in the resorces available ill get that done without issue, however my car wasnt equipt with a factory Tachometer and my current cluster the Speedo and odometer only work about half the time.

*SO, i found an Ex cluster with a tach and i want to install it but is there going to be wiring harness issues with adding the tach cluster??

*Whats the best way to get the crack pulley off on the D16y7?

*Any special tools required for either job?

Thanks in advance!

Re: NEEWWWWBBB! I have a few issues with my 1996 Dx Hatch
Just did timing belt. To remove the crankshaft pull, you will need a special tool. You can also get them at some autoparts stores - I got mine at CarQuest. There are other alternatives, but this made it painless with my 150psi air compressor.
Do a search - there is tutorials on how to do your timing chain.
No input on the cluster, sorry.
