Quick Question: Pressure Tesing

Hey guys I read in a search that 90psi across all cylinders was too low for the car to run and that the compression tester might be incorrect. I hope my tester is correct but my readings were pretty much 90psi across the board. Anyone else know if at 90psi it would not run?

Also, I would like to know the proper amount of pressure to use on the cooling system when testing. I read 16psi from a parts store online. Will 16 be too much for the system?

Thanks guys!

Re: Quick Question: Pressure Tesing

90 is low but the car could still run, just not have much power. 130psi is around normal. its strange that all four are low and the same, unless maybe the tester is messed. if the car drives normally, then i doubt the readings are correct.

Re: Quick Question: Pressure Tesing

Did you try 5 cranks, and check the O-rings on the loaner tester?
