Re: Car woulnt start

check the connector terminal with the battery
u can try to tighten it,
when u jump start the cable touches the terminal
whiches brings power to ur car
and when ur car is running the alternator is supplying the the car not the battery.
so recheck the terminal and also do a battery test
with multimeter and if u dont have a multimeter u can use any 12v light bulb

i'm having the same problem with my 2000 civic LX. anyone have any ideas please tell me. my battery is brand new and i get no signs that the altenator is bad. as soon as i touch the cables to it it fires right up and runs great until i shut it off. sometimes it will start most times it won't.
