its not too bad. remove spark plug wires, take off the valve cover bolts, possibly the timing cover on the side. just be careful putting the bolts back later. they cannot take much torque, i think only around 8 ft/lbs.

Yeah. Its pretty easy. Just make sure you have like a putty knife to help pry it up if it gets stuck. Don't use a pry bar! You may also wanna grab some acetone and a carbon scraper to clean any gunk off where the cover sits at. I also used red sealant. Some people don't use any, but I'm super ocd about that crap. The gasket should only run you about 10 bucks. And like gb said, don't go torque crazy on those bolts.
