2000 Civic: front side marker lights, tail lights and licence plate lights stuck on..

Hello new here. Just got my Civic a week ago. Today I noticed that the parking lights and tail lights are stuck on even with the key out of the car. I tried using the search option to find a solution, but had no luck. From what i have researched I am thinking it is a relay or something.

Are the brake lights on too? If not, the light switch on the steering column may be bad.

Maybe the contacts on your tailight relay stuck closed, it is located in the under dash fuse box.

You could try gently tapping the relay case tops, it may drop back out.
