Hello all honda guru's i just bought a 1998 Civic Hatchback.
The car came with four winters and four "Summer" rims.

I forgot the full name but they are montegi s7's i believe.

So i was thinking of "converting" mine into a type r version.

now i noticed the other day that the rims look kinda similiar (other than no "H" letter). pic included, so the car is black and i was thinking if i paint them white they might look cool.

Just any suggestions on weither to forgot it or to maybe give it a try.

well, its all up to you and how you want your car to look, but whats the worst that could happen. personally i myself wouldnt do it with a black car, because i dont care for the look of white rims on a black car, as oppose to like white rims on a red car or green car etc. but as i said, its all about what you want it to look like

I agree. stick with the way it is right now. but if the spokes were a little wider, I might consider painting them a bronze color.

Paint them after u have had them for a while, or when u get bored with them. I think they do look good right now, but they would not look bad with a nice black painting either.
