Engine shuts down???

Engine shuts down???
After driving around 45 minutes my 1998 civic engine dies on me, no sputtering just dies (lights stay on), no check engine light comes on prior to stall but there is an engine light when it does stall. When i come to a complete stop, turn the key off then on, it starts up and will run for a little while before it shuts off again. I changed the fuel filter and distributeter cap, my plugs and wires are fine. i'm at a loss.

Check you alternator. do you have to charge your battery overnight when it sit or no? If okay check the fuel line pressure. If there is not sufficiant fuel pressure the engine will stall.

How does it stall? Are you moving at speed and it just shuts off or does it die while your idling at a light?
