I have a 2000 Honda Civic LX
all stock

when i put it into D4, my RPM's can be all they way up to 5000-6000 and im only going 15 mph. But in reverse it works fine, D3 is a little slow, but D2 drives fine as well.

i took it to auto zone and they hooked it up to the computer, and it said-


Definition
ECM/PCM Internal Cercuit Failure A

Probable Causes
1. Open or short circuit condition
2. Poor electrical connection
3.Failed ECM

now i know a new ECM is around 1000 bucks, and i dont feel like spending that much, im really good with anything electrical or with wires, so im thinking that i can do it myself with the help of my buddy.

any ideas?

and if you can find it, i need help finding the color chart for the wires for a
2000 Honda Civic LX
