quick DIY - Strut Boot Fix

The strut boot dislocated from my 06 EX, this was a 2 person 4 hands job. I pulled the boot down while my brother applied the tye wraps. A temporary fix for old struts, we'll see how long this lasts but it is cheap and easy to replace if needed and helps the strut seals last longer.

Images didn't work without the IMG pre and suffixes.

Yes they are to keep the road grime off of the strut shafts which wears out the seals where the shaft enters the strut body. I keep hearing a cashucking sound going over bumpy roads, which was caused by the lose end of the boot rubbing over the clip that is suppose to hold it in place. Look carefully just below the bottom spring in the picture for this clip. The boot was pulled over this and then tightly tye wrapped.
